How can information and data be presented in an understandable way?
I offer workshops in various formats – whether scientific data visualization.
on the PC or analog information design with pen and paper as well as alternative media such as embroidery.
In my workshops, we develop methods for visualizing data and information.
and answer the following questions using different approaches:
- What methods and rules are needed for a transparent design?
- How does it help Visual Storytelling to show the common thread behind the data and information?
- In what ways can external and internal information be reconciled?
- How is a data table structured as a basis for further analysis?
- What types of tools can be used?
The workshop can focus on the scientific requirements of information processing or offer playful approaches - whether for team building events, creative group events for children, teenagers and adults or for professional development - I am also happy to develop interdisciplinary approaches upon request.
The workshops are designed for students of different age groups, ensuring that the fundamentals can be immediately understood and applied. University students and adults learn information design and data visualization for academic purposes. Children can use various materials to interact with the inner and outer world, learning to process information in a playful way. Individual groups receive tailored formats for different aspects.

Analog data visualization is a method for connecting with the external world. For autistic individuals, this connection, in conjunction with their inner world, presents a different challenge. In this workshop, I will demonstrate how the diversity of external impressions and the sheer volume of information can be structured and organized – resulting in unique works of art as unique as the artist's own perception.

The representation of data and information is as old as humanity itself. In this interdisciplinary workshop, we will first examine the historical development of data visualization, culminating in modern design. We will then learn the fundamental principles of scientific data processing step by step and explore creative methods of information presentation. We will develop our own research question on a topic from biodiversity research and then, through independent research, create our own data table as the basis for our data analysis. Finally, we will design a suitable layout and create our own poster to present our findings.

This project was created to coincide with the theme of the "tree disc festival" in the Mackeviertel and Altstadt districts, where we design flowers together from our own data and information from the world around us.

To mark "International Women's Day", we will give handicrafts, originally practiced mainly by women to earn a living, a modern makeover - and in doing so, we will not only create "pretty" embroideries, but also deal with the visualization of data.
We learn how to connect the inner and outer world, full of impressions and information, using scientific methods, and in doing so, we enter a creative process.
